"The Road to India - A Journey Back to Myself"
This is the true story of a young soul in search of peace, purpose, and something beyond the noise of the world.
Through forests, across borders, sleeping under the stars, and sometimes under doubt, this pilgrimage changed everything.
Along the way, I met a mysterious spiritual teacher known as Master Z, who spoke in riddles, walked in silence, and helped unlock a deeper truth within.
The Road to India is a story of healing, awakening, and freedom, a spiritual memoir for anyone who’s ever wondered if there’s more to life than what we’ve been told.
"The Road to India - A Journey Back to Myself" is a deeply introspective and evocative memoir by Nam Noor. The book chronicles the author's transformative journey from a place of deep personal pain and confusion to a state of profound self-discovery and healing.
The narrative begins with the author's troubled childhood, marked by feelings of inadequacy and anger, largely stemming from a difficult relationship with their father. This emotional turmoil leads to a restless adolescence, where the author struggles to find meaning and purpose in life. The turning point comes with the encounter of Melvin; a gentle and kind-hearted man whose presence begins to shift the author's perspective on life and self-worth.
Driven by a newfound sense of hope and the desire to escape the confines of their old life, the author embarks on a journey eastward, eventually reaching India. This journey is not just a physical trek across continents but a metaphorical path towards inner peace and self-acceptance. Along the way, the author encounters various individuals who offer kindness, wisdom, and companionship, each contributing to the healing process.
The book is structured into chapters that detail specific encounters and experiences, each serving as a stepping stone in the author's journey. From the mountains of Europe to the deserts of the Middle East, and finally to the spiritual landscapes of India, the narrative is rich with vivid descriptions and emotional depth. The author's interactions with strangers, the lessons learned from Master Z, and the moments of quiet reflection all weave together to create a tapestry of growth and transformation.
Nam Noor's writing is poetic and reflective, capturing the essence of each moment with sensitivity and grace. The memoir is not just a recounting of events but a meditation on the nature of healing, the importance of kindness, and the power of self-discovery. It invites readers to walk alongside the author, to feel the weight of their struggles, and to celebrate the beauty of their triumphs.
In essence, "The Road to India - A Journey Back to Myself" is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of love and compassion. It is a journey that reminds us that sometimes, the path to finding ourselves begins with the courage to leave behind what no longer serves us and to embrace the unknown with an open heart.
If you’ve ever felt the pull to walk away, to begin again, or to trust the unknown, this book is for you.
An Ancient Path. A Modern Pilgrimage. A Journey of the Soul.
I Walked 750 Miles Across England… Chasing an Invisible Energy Line
(Yes, really. And no, I’m not entirely mad… probably.)
What started as “just a nice long walk” turned into the most profound, exhausting, hilarious, and soul-stirring adventure of my life.
I hiked and wild camped from Christchurch in Dorset to Lindisfarne in Northumberland—roughly 750 miles of blisters, beauty, and ancient mystery. But I wasn’t just wandering aimlessly (though there was some of that). I was following a true north line—an ancient path said to connect Neolithic tombs, Bronze Age stone circles, and Iron Age hillforts.
Basically, if it was mossy, mysterious, and possibly haunted—I slept next to it.
Along the way, I spoke to the wind, got rained on a lot, had deep chats with sheep, and felt the energy of our ancestors humming through the land. It was both deeply spiritual and, occasionally, profoundly soggy.
And I filmed the whole blooming thing! The highs. The lows. The lessons. The laughter. The ancient places. The inner shifts.
💛 So if your soul’s craving something real—raw, beautiful, a bit muddy, and deeply moving—come join the journey.💛
